Erin Stone has problems. For one thing, she is flunking out of college. For another, she may be the sole inheritor of some crazy demon-slaying super power called the Nine.
After facing the remnants of a centuries-old demon in a cave in Austria, Erin returns home only to find she may never be able to get her old life back. With a pair of twin monster hunters as her new roommates, and the vampire Sirian finally losing his cool, Erin struggles for normality—for a chance to repair her friendships as well as her GPA—but discovers the F.B.I. has branded her a terrorist, armed and dangerous, to be apprehended with lethal force if necessary.
With local and federal authorities on her trail—not to mention the ever-sultry Krysis, who has intentions of her own—Erin must consider the possibility that her troubles are far from over.
